Lord, life became a little more precious this past week as I celebrated a birthday. It was overwhelming to think of the number of years of life and all the blessings you have given. For that I am so very thankful, but for the precious people with whom I have the joy of sharing life, I am grateful beyond words. Those people include my family members, the blessings of life that just keep on blessing day after day. In addition, there are friends who have provided life support in more ways than I can possibly remember. And Father, for the wonderful group of people who call me pastor, my soul delights as I think of them. Thank you for the people in my life. Amen!
