Salvation and baptism came early in my physical life, baptized just days before my ninth birthday. As I look back to that time in my spiritual life, I understood very little regarding salvation. My simplistic understanding was none the less the beginning of a rather long spiritual journey with some triumphs and some failures in following Jesus Christ. God has confirmed that initial experience in many different ways through the years, and without those confirmations and rededications, I have no idea where I might be spiritually. Remember your initial salvation experience today. Thank God for the up and down spiritual journey, and rededicate your life to follow Him daily.
