We welcome to our worship service this morning, Girl Scout Troops 2449 and 10452. Two of their leaders, Christine Schrader and Katie Carman, are members of our Church. These young ladies and their leaders have their meetings in our facility, and we are delighted to have just a small part in providing for them. Many of you are like me and the first thing you think of with the mention of Girl Scouts is cookies. But there is much more to this organization than their fund raising. Their activities center around building character and learning to work with others. It is a privilege to have a small part in helping these ladies reach their full potential, to help prepare them to meet the challenges of life, and to assist them in learning to serve in our community.
